Privacy Policy

PBIQ is a pickleball training app built by PBIQ LLC (“PBIQ”, “we”, “us”). We collect the minimum data needed to give you personalized drills, coaching, and social features. We don’t sell your data, we don’t share it with advertisers, and we delete it when you delete your account.

Account & profile. Email address and password (handled by Firebase Authentication; we never see your password). Optional profile fields: first/last name, city, DUPR rating, profile photo.

Practice data. Drills you complete, goals you set, notes you write, badges you earn, sessions you log, and AI-generated practice recaps.

Social content. Activity feed posts, follows, paddle taps (likes), partner reports, and any reports you file against other users.

Coach & player messaging. If you connect with a coach (or are a coach), the messages you exchange and lesson plans you create are stored so both parties can access them.

Voice notes. When you use voice input, audio is transcribed locally on your device using Apple’s Speech framework. We store the resulting text. We don’t store the raw audio.

Calendar. If you grant calendar access, we read your free/busy times to suggest practice blocks. Calendar events we read are not stored on our servers; we only use them in-session.

Purchase data. Subscription status (active, trialing, expired) from RevenueCat. We do not see card numbers or billing details — Apple handles all payment processing.

Device data. Push notification token (so we can send you nudges and coaching updates), app version, and crash logs. Crash logs do not contain personal data.

• To run the app and personalize your training.
• To generate drill recommendations and recaps using AI.
• To deliver coach-assigned drills and lesson feedback.
• To send you push notifications you’ve opted into.
• To process subscription purchases via Apple and RevenueCat.
• To detect and remove abusive content, accounts, and reports.
• To diagnose crashes and performance issues.

We share data with the following providers, only as needed to run PBIQ:

• Firebase (Google): account authentication, push notifications.
• RevenueCat: subscription state management.
• MongoDB Atlas: database hosting (US region).
• Anthropic & OpenAI: AI-generated drill plans and coaching responses. Inputs we send include your DUPR, recent drills, and session notes — never your email, name, or precise location. We don’t allow these providers to use your data to train their models.
• Resend: transactional email delivery (welcome, booking, reminder).
• Apple: payment processing, push notification delivery, App Store transactions.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. Deletion is immediate and removes:

• Your profile, drills, goals, notes, and practice history.
• Your activity feed posts and follows.
• Your subscription record at RevenueCat.
• If you’re a coach: your client records, lesson plans, messages, and bookings.

We may retain limited records to comply with legal obligations (e.g., payment receipts as required by tax law) for the period required, then delete them. To delete your account by email, contact admin@pickleballroadmap.com and we will process the deletion within 7 days.

PBIQ is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, email admin@pickleballroadmap.com. California residents may also request information about third-party disclosures under the CCPA; we do not sell personal information to third parties.

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Authentication tokens are short-lived and refreshed by Firebase. We use access controls and audit logs to limit who on our team can access user data. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please email admin@pickleballroadmap.com.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The latest version is always at this URL with the effective date below.
